Popeyes UK PR Partnership with Manchester-based agency Scoop will continue as the fast-growing quick service restaurant brand prepares a major expansion across the United Kingdom. The communications agency has been re-appointed as lead partner for new site openings and regional brand communications.
The renewed agreement follows a successful collaboration during 2025. During that period, Scoop supported more than 40 restaurant openings nationwide. As a result, Popeyes UK reached an important milestone of 100 locations across the country. The brand achieved that growth only four years after entering the UK market in 2021.
Now the Popeyes UK PR Partnership is entering a new phase. In 2026, Scoop will combine new site opening campaigns with broader regional communication strategies. Instead of promoting each restaurant individually, the agency will create integrated campaigns designed to strengthen brand presence across entire regions.
Greater Manchester will lead the next expansion stage. Popeyes UK plans to open six new locations in the region. Consequently, the investment represents the company’s largest single regional expansion planned for 2026.
The Popeyes UK PR Partnership will support the launch through coordinated media outreach, influencer engagement, local partnerships, and community events. These efforts aim to drive foot traffic to new restaurants while also strengthening long-term brand loyalty.
Scoop previously demonstrated the effectiveness of this approach in 2025. The agency developed a Manchester-focused campaign in collaboration with local streetwear label UN:IK Clothing. The partnership introduced limited-edition merchandise alongside the brand’s signature chicken sandwiches. The launch event at Popeyes Manchester Piccadilly sold out in less than 15 minutes.
Building on that success, the expanded Popeyes UK PR Partnership will scale similar campaigns across other markets. The goal is to combine local culture, food experiences, and community engagement to increase visibility and excitement around new restaurant openings.
Kara Doyle, client services director at Scoop, said the agency has developed a strong connection with the brand over several years. She explained that after working together on more than 50 restaurant launches, the team feels deeply involved in shaping Popeyes’ growth story in the UK.
Doyle also highlighted the importance of Manchester in the company’s strategy. As the agency’s home city, the region offers a strong cultural identity and enthusiastic customer base. Therefore, launching the brand’s largest regional investment there feels particularly meaningful for the team.
Popeyes UK marketing director Vicky Barber echoed that view. She said Manchester’s vibrant energy aligns closely with the brand’s personality. The company believes the city provides the ideal starting point for the next stage of expansion.
Barber also emphasized that Scoop has played an important role in building awareness for Popeyes in the UK. Through coordinated communications and creative campaigns, the agency helped establish the brand as one of the country’s fastest-growing restaurant chains.
As the Popeyes UK PR Partnership continues, both companies aim to deepen their collaboration while accelerating regional growth. With integrated marketing campaigns and strong local engagement, Popeyes hopes to build lasting connections with customers as it expands its footprint across the UK.
